Delayed for six months by Covid, we were finally able to get our produce to market in August of 2020.

Despite fits and starts, we proved scalability, asset (truck) optimization and we…

  • added a Demand Portal for direct broker and consumer purchasing, removing middlemen

  • continued to improve logistics and selling at the market (focusing on new, smaller markets)

  • increased the number of pickups and volume, farmers and frequency

  • drove down costs, increased margins, began to take margin to cover costs

  • looked at multiple trucks, refrigerated trucks, purchase and/or lease

  • Looked into partnerships, NGOs, gov agencies, etc 

  • Looked into crop expansion

  • Looked into a regional expansion in Kenya and other countries
